Accuracy on the positioning of the multiple interfacing holes as well as planarity of the connecting end plates requires painstaking attention to detail. Additional challenges are implied in the deep drawing process used to manufacture the connecting beam, as the part has to be free from defects and excessive residual stresses concentration.
